This summer has definitely been different for many of us. With my kids at home and the obvious covid restrictions it was less carefree. Although having the kids at home I have to say was truly wonderful I still needed a getaway for all of us to be together and a change of scenery. So glad we did! (we chose Lake Placid and it was wonderful!) So, for those of you looking for a gateway before the summer ends and school starts (whatever that looks like) take a look at some great ideas. Also, these places are great in September too and less crowded too.
